Supporting our business communities is very important to all of us at Marty Designs. We believe that the community in which we work and live is strengthened when helping hands and shared knowledge come together. We use our company resources to enhance the cities and towns in which our employees live and work.

Hospice- Hospice is about comfort, support, compassion and dignity. We use our financial resources to give in memory of Marty's Mom, Bernice Rose Heim.

Big Brothers Big Sisters- Our team collects pledges from clients and people we know. We use our company resources to match funds we collect. Our team collected the most money and won a travel voucher for $500.
What did we do with the prize?

Girl Scouts of America- We use our time and share our knowledge with Girl Scout troops, helping them earn their technology badges. A special thanks to Guilford Technical Community College’s High Point campus for allowing us to use the computer lab, making this program a success.

Trinity High School mentor program- The Mentor Program allows students to explore their personal interests in a hands-on, real-world environment instead of in a classroom setting. Marty serves as a mentor to Melissa S., who regularly attends business meetings and appointments with Marty. Her final project will undoubtedly be a kicking Web site!

Open Door Ministry- Open Door Ministries offers safe, temporary housing for homeless adult men. We collect personal items for the homeless, with help from the High Point Chamber and the Greensboro Merchants Association Friday leads group. We can bring an end to homelessness only through a concerted effort to ensure that jobs pay a living wage, adequate support is available for those who cannot work, affordable housing is provided and health care is accessible to all.
